Simple Braids = Wavy Hair
As I write this blog post my hair is actually short now, in a fresh new chin length bob. Which I’m loving!
When my hair was longer and at times a bit overwhelming I had my go to hair do. I would part my hair evenly and make two simple braids. I would go to sleep with my hair braided. Then in the morning I would undo the braids and run my fingers through my hair and just like that my hair was done and ready for the day.
I wouldn’t run a brush through my hair because a didn’t want my hair to get frizzy or to break up the wave pattern.
The pictures above are from our annual family picnic. My husband and I were in charge of showing up early and reserving the spot. So I showed in braids helped set up and before everyone arrived I undid my braids and I was picnic ready.
This is perfect for mid- length to long hair. The braids do not need to be perfect although the tighter the braid the wavier the hair will be. I hope this tip will simplify your morning routine.
